Now what essentially hooks me onto this photo, is the surprising presence of contrast, starting with the contrast from the stone to the center building where it creates such an interesting view and this is where I believe the center of focus is for this photo.

I would also like to say the whole composition of this has been done perfectly, with previously stated use of contrast and also, the use of black and white highlights more detail and brings the photo to my attention, more than I would suspect in color.

This was definitely a pleasure to look at.
